A still life oil painting on stretched canvas of a red apple on a shelf. The apple looks juicy and fresh by the layering of the oil paint. This painting was created at Splashout Studios where I have art classes and in my own studio. Students were to chose one fruit which will take up most of the canvas. I was attracted to the colours of reds, yellow and pink in this still life. This painting would look lovely in a kitchen or café environment.
