Australian Country Landscape by Millie Simic – I’ve painted this scene a few times, this time in a more semi abstract way.
The painting is of a beautiful path through some natural bushland on the island where I Iive. The dappled light through the trees were incredible and I decided to paint with dabs of paint to infer the dappled light. Because there was so much green, the under painting is of a rich magenta colour adding more sparkle to the image.
I’m loving the easy going nature of this one.
Edges are painted white and the surface has a gloss finish. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
