Australian Farmhouse by Michael Cartwright

A charming old Australian farmhouse nestled among the bushes in the beautiful countryside of south Western Australia. I was inspired by the characteristic charm of this old home, the colorful bushes surrounding it and the free range hens foraging among the foreground grasses.
A textured landscape oil painting spontaneously rendered using mainly palette knife. Artist quality oil paint on professional grade stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
