Authentic Ironbark didgeridoo with bark bottom bell. Hand painted by local indigenous artist, Karl Hardy. Didgeridoo is made from a native Australian Eucalyptus tree that has been naturally hollowed out by termites over time and then hand crafted by indigenous artisans into a beautiful, playable unique instrument. It is finished with a light clear varnish to protect it from drying and cracking. Mouth piece is covered in traditional beeswax to enhance seal and playability.

The didgeridoo is 135 cms in length with a sound bell of 19 cms diameter

Karl’s family is from the Armidale area in NSW. When he was very young he started to help his grandmother with the backgrounds and filling in and developed a very Northern Territory style. Although only 25 years old, his work has a mature feel to it .He is a accomplished didgeridoo player with a keen interest in history, his heritage is extremely important to him.
