I really enjoy dark intense colours and this new series offer a great way to use the colours of Australia. This series takes its inspiration from the poem by Dorothy MacKeller, The Colours Of Light.

“Deep purples, emeralds deep and rich,
Where Autumn’s flaming and summer’s green”

On all my work the colour continues around the sides of the piece, the paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
