The colours of this landscape are a response to Sydney’s recent weather – interminable grey skies with occasional bursts of sunshine. I used a limited palette of Payne’s Grey, Titanium White, Raw Sienna and Yellow Oxide to contrast warm and cool tones in the painting, inspired by travels through granite country backroads between NSW and Victoria.
Painted on 360GSM archival, acid free watercolour paper. The artwork will arrive pre-mounted on 6.5cm off white card. The painted surface measures 37 x 25cm
