“Be Still” – By Sharon Rynehart

It’s hard to ‘be still’ in the busy routines of everyday life. When you’re doing all you can to get through a day, keep kids and family and friends happy, manage the household and/or your work, and putting everyone else first it’s easy to forget about our own self care. Sometimes we need to make a conscious choice to find time to exhale. The rugged Winter coast is a reminder for me, that despite it’s more volatile waters and moody grey skies sometimes, it too has little breakaway waters that flow and settle into sheltered coves or inlets. The water here is quieter, calmer…more still. We need to find our own break away spot every now and then to do the same. This palette knife artwork is reminiscent of those thoughts, and with it’s soothing colours I can’t help but exhale and be still when I’m looking at it. I hope it does the same for you too.

It is created on artist quality gallery wrapped stretched cotton canvas and framed in a Natural Ash timber frame. It is satin varnished and comes with a COA.
