Beach Sunset 2 by Sam Askin

Every sunset is unique, which is what draws me to them in painting, especially for beachscapes in my backyard. I have been insired by artworks of others showing shades of pinks and greens in landscapes recently, and was lucky enough to capture a perfect reference of my own to bring to life. What could be viewed as a gloomy afternoon at low tide absolutely comes to life in this painting, feeling dramatic yet soothing at the same time.
