Bellai, by artist Stephanie Laine is a new abstract Diptych from her ‘Fresca’ series which focuses on the balance between spontaneity and consideration. ‘Just like in life it’s important to plan some things but also leave space for passion and intuition to guide us. A perfect blend I think.’
Bellai is a combination of pink, mauve, yellow and maroon with a touch of navy. Each canvas is 117cm square. When hung with a 16cm gap the canvases will span 2.5m in length and 117cm in height. The image extends around the 3.8cm sides of each canvas so they are ready to hang. These images are taken before lacquering to reduce reflection in the photos. The artwork will be finished in 2 coats of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.
