Synopsis

When I first moved to Shanghai (China) I would listen to ‘Better Days’ by Pete Murray over and over again. I’d plug in my ear buds, jump on my push bike and peddle my way through the streets to my meetings. The days were easy – I was busy. The nights were tough. I was lonely. I didn’t have any friends yet. I didn’t speak mandarin yet. Technology wasn’t what it is today – I couldn’t just WhatsApp friends back home. All I could do was listen to Pete Murray, close my eyes and pretend I was home in Australia. I promise there was eventually better days.
