Between Object and Dream – an original artwork by Helen Andrade

“This image started as a cup on a table, my intention being to create a dream like setting with an everyday object.” says Helen. “After layers of oilstick, the artwork began to unravel into motion! The cup dissolved into light and colour, its stillness transformed into energy. What remains is almost an echo of form — a trace of presence turning inward, alive with memory and sensation.”
This dreamscape still life melts into feeling — almost colour breathing in place of form.
