Blackbutt, or eucalyptus pilularis can be found dotted along the south eastern coast of Australia. Where woody bushlands meet coastal landscapes, this iconic species is a symbol of Jacky’s childhood holidays spent in and around Sydney.

Created with a colour palette inspired by the Australian landscape, this artwork features deep woody tones found in blackbutt forest areas. ‘Blackbutt Moment II’ works in continuity with other pieces from the Southern Melody collection including ‘Mountain Ash Moment II’ and ‘Sydney Blue Moment I’.
