‘Blame it on the Boogie‘ original painting by Cecilia Bell.

Sometimes we look back at the past and wonder why we did certain things, made certain decisions, in those sliding doors scenarios. I figure we may as well ‘blame it on the boogie’!
I love to draw and paint people’s faces or facial features in a fluid abstract way, the lines and forms connecting them, a reminder of how we are all connected in life. I paint intuitively, partly from life and partly from memories. In this case, memories of emotions and people in social situations.
