Urban Abstract Graffiti Art mixed media Collage Painting.

This original artwork is made using Recycled Paper and it is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces. The work is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

The painted surface was firstly built up with multiple layers of paper and then overlayed with subtle hits of Acrylic Paint, Sugar Spray Packs, Pencils, Stencils & graffiti Paint Pens.

This artwork comes framed in white and mounted under a clear perspex sheet.

This artwork has a very textured finish created by built up layers, paint splatters and torn paper, a visual effect mimicking the look you would see in the street where this effect is created over time on Graffiti Walls & Advertising Spaces. These imperfections are part of the overall look and rustic feel of the finished work.
