Blue Eyes by Susanne Bianchi.

It is always said that ‘the eyes are the windows to the soul’.  It is a very personal thing to gaze into another person’s eyes, to try and see their soul and read their story.

No two eyes are the same, with varying shades and colour, they create a personalized fingerprint for the world to see. Personally, I have always been drawn to blue eyes most probably because all my family have vivid blue eyes.

I started with bold colour painted onto a cradled board to create this piece. I initially begin my pieces with multiple layers of under-colour splattered with abandon onto the board.  The aim is to create depth and mystery to the artwork.

With Blue Eyes, I then added my beautiful woman’s face which emerges from the energetic flowing colours. These colours suggest hair streaming in the wind.

This piece is painted on a cradled board using acrylic paint. It is sealed with a satin finish, is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Note that in situ examples may not be to scale.
