Artist Statement: The days have been beautiful and blue and we have been so lucky to have peace.

This work is part of my cost of living sale. Work this size is $3550 in galleries and $3000 online.

This work is oil and acrylic on 100X150cm on Fine Belgian Linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity.

All my work is sealed with a Conservationist Varnish and is painted on Fine Belgian Linen (except for a few on canvas).
I paint mainly on Linen because it provides a much better finish for the paint and is longer lasting than canvas so gives the painting posterity and the conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth if you need to which will also preserve its life.

The work is sent Unstretched (this is taken into account in the price) in a roll (a much safer way for paintings to travel) ready for stretching and exterior framing (but an exterior frame isn’t necessary unless you want it)

All works are painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides).

With framing – if you choose to add an exterior frame I strongly suggest you match your furniture and trimmings and only use black or white if you have a lot of black or white furniture or trimmings. Other wise and if in doubt I would always recommend a neutral natural timber frame. It is rarely the painting that will not match your home and nearly always the framing choice.
