Artist Statement: I love the Blue of the Mountains of my grandmother’s Country. I feel like I could hide away forever in that Blueness.

This work is Oil and acrylic 150cm X 150cm on Fine Belgian Linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist CV and certificate of authenticity.

The work is sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish and is painted on Fine Belgian Linen (except for a few on canvas). Linen provides a beautiful finish for the paint and is very long lasting giving the painting posterity for many hundreds of years. The conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust if you need to which will also preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn’t crack or yellow with age and light.

The work is sent Unstretched (this is taken into account in the price) in a roll ready for stretching and framing (but an exterior frame isn’t necessary unless you want it) All works are painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides).
