Introducing the new cousin to my Bodyline Series, I welcome you to explore Body Bloom.

A series that exudes a sense of elegance and sophistication with the use of a darkened canvas. Providing the perfect background the spotlight then reflects to the figurative nature of the series. A series that explores the nature of growth within ourselves and our relationships as we develop and bloom. A time when we come into full beauty and health, when we flourish.

To keep in line with its cousin series a charcoal outline of figures graces the canvas. Dark in nature to add to the mystery and style of the piece, it blends against the black background with a powdery nature. Within these lines the beautiful strokes of acrylics and impasto meld onto the foreground. Closely related to one another the colours come close together at times combining to create a wondrous sense of connection.

The third of the series is a striking, yet gentle artwork of a man holding a woman. With his strong protective physique wrapping his arms around the womans waist in a tender embrace. Standing in front, the woman accepts his undying love and acknowledges all he does for her by tenderly wrapping her arms over his.  A beautiful energy  that sings to the tune of when a man loves a woman.
