Boho Flowers by Rosemary Legat – Acrylic paint, spray paint, collage & acrylic ink pen on stretched canvas.

Developed one of my multi layered intuitive bases until I was satisfied with the interest and depth she would provide peeking through my final layer…..negative space painting.

Boho Flowers is similar to my other posy creations but unique due to the use of different collage pieces created from torn Dr Seuss story book pages along with the collage pieces I designed and created along with spray painted stencilling applied during the layering process.

The textured layers are wrapped around her edges.

Boho Flowers is a extremely textural artwork which gives her a slightly rustic, organic look when up close. However, from afar she evokes a light, fresh and more delicate vibe which is enhanced by the use of soft white acrylic paint.

Initialled on the front and signed on the back.
