Bouquet by Rosemary Legat – Acrylic paint, acrylic ink, spray paint, collage and ink brush pen.

I adhered torn pieces of paper to my canvas as a starting point followed by multiple intuitive layers of paint and sgraffito to provide texture, detail and depth.

I became attached to the look of the base I had created with its limited colour palette and softness therefore I decided to keep the soft, calm and peaceful vibe as I progressed.

Subsequent intuitive layers added further interest, detail and texture plus a little pop of additional colour until I was satisfied and she had developed in my Bouquet.

Bouquet is very organic piece. I wrapped the painting around her canvas edges.

Signed on the front.

Bouquet is ready to hang however my gallery photos include a example of how she could look boxed framed.
