Bradley’s Head by Geoff Hargraves – Everyone notices Bradley’ head.

When you travel on the harbour it is a rounding point to and from Manly, The mast on the headland above the lighthouse draws ones attention.

My original oil painting celebrates this headland and the harbour bridge and Opera house in the background.

Bradley’s Head in Sydney Harbour with light reflecting off the water. The original Aboriginal inhabitants, who belonged to the Borogegal clan of the Eora nation, knew Bradley’s Head as Borogegy, Booraghee, Booragy or Burrogy. On the headland is an active lighthouse, Bradley’s Head Light, constructed in 1905 The foremast of the cruiser HMAS Sydney is mounted on the headland, a memorial to RANs first ship to ship battle.

Sides painted white and ready to hang with a wire attached.
