Bradleys Head, Mosman – (Beach Walk series) by Cecilia Bell – There is something unique about Bradleys Head which pulls me to it again and again, I feel drawn to visit regularly, walk along the sand picking up tiny shells and drawing in the sand with pieces of driftwood. I love to sketch the natural beauty of the Sydney Harbour en plein air, especially the sweeping curves of the coastline. I referred to my sketches to create this painting capturing the unique fresh and rather wild feeling of standing on the wet sand, the energy of the waves breaking on the shore, the water just touching my bare toes.
