I saw these three naughty ones on my way to conduct a painting workshop for the Monto Art Group. As I drove I saw this beautiful scene and further along were three mischief calves on the side of the road. Just one look at them and you just knew they were naughty. Like kids loitering outside Nanna’s house eating all her cookies and mum doesn’t know. There don’t seem to be roadside fences out that way and the cattle keep the roadsides tidy, and cattle grids separate herds and properties. At least from my observations anyway. It was a stunning drive and I met many such wonderful creatures full of life and character.
