Break in the Cloud by Sam Brett – This piece is influenced by my ongoing interest in skies and fleeting moments of light. I’m drawn to scenes where colour and atmosphere do most of the work, without relying on strong detail or a specific location. By simplifying the composition and focusing on soft transitions, the aim is to create a painting that feels balanced, reflective and easy to live with.
