This listing is a series of three connected pieces in a triptych of the Brisbane River. The Brisbane River is a winding, ever changing cityscape and landscape that evolves every day. Pairing that with the often sudden changes in weather that Brisbane can experience, particularly in the Summer, and it becomes a great source of inspiration. Even on a moody, overcast day like the one represented in this work, the colour variation in the classic houses lining the river brighten the view from this riverside balcony. Shifting boats, cars, people, planes and clouds measn that you will never get exactly the same view twice. That feeling of an iconic scene mixed with the beauty of the day is what I have captured in this piece, and I hope that resonates with you too.
