Bush Dwellers – Original oil painting by Kim Rees, this strange painting has morphed over several years with 4 changes of clothes (who ever heard of an angel wearing blue and white checks…) trees, a house and flowers painted in and back out, a pigeon miraculously became a rooster, mountains were flattened and a rising mist added, ohh, and the foreground became abstracted – could only be a miracle – right? You know its an angel because of the wings… though skimped on a matching halo. She could at least smile… but alas no. A bizarre little painting to matches our times – part abstract – part surreal – part figurative – part landscape – label it as you will.
