‘Bushwalking in the Grampians’ – Rock and Country Series by Julie Dynan – An original acrylic landscape painting.

I love painting contemporary pieces which have a unique style yet each have their own individual look. I painted this artwork with inspiration taken from one of my photos of a walk I did in the Western part of Victoria in the beautiful Grampians near Halls Gap. I have used thick paint to give texture so it is beautiful and tactile. I spent a great deal of time on this landscape to bring it to life. Our wonderful Australian landscape in the beautiful western part of country Victoria in a contemporary and fresh way. I love to create colourful boulders and granite outcrops with the lovely earthy colours & then our beautiful bushland part of this vast Australian country we call home.

I have used palette knives & brush work to create these unique artworks.
