Busy Bee is a mixed media painting. Sue glued over a canvas she painted of her garden with various bits of tissue paper and music sheets. With patterned stencils she covered the canvas and then added realistic elements, such as the flowers and the bee, which she broke up with more patterned elements using stencils and acrylic paint and pens.
The painting is sealed with a matte varnish and the edges are painted black. It is wired and ready to hang. Sue has signed the painting on the back.
