Camara de Lobos Madeira by Peter Hunter. Madeira is an island municipality of Portugal. It was settled in the 1400’s after being discovered by an explorer of the name Zarco. This painting shows buildings perched on a cliff above the sea. The architecture is reminiscent of Mediterranean architecture and the buildings appear to grow from the cliff face. Madeira, when it was discovered, had large colonies of seals which have unfortunately now disappeared.

Paper used is Fabriano 300G per metre squared, cold pressed. Ready to be framed.
