Candy Apple by Sarah Walker – After creating an earlier piece called ‘Joyful the piece that had no name’, I really wanted to do a few more fruit pieces and create a series. This is a playful, pop art inspired, vividly coloured series. Candy Apple is the second in this set, and I am in love with it. It’s a little piece of sunshine, a little spring time air, a little pop art, and a lot of fun. Some in this series are inspired by my bright colour palette, and others are inspired by my daughter’s pastel colour palette. Little fruit gems of art!
