Capertee Crown – Original oil painting by Carol D’Arcy – A small, square landscape in blues, yellows and ochres painted en Plein air.

My brother lived in The Capertee Valley for many years. It’s one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Nestled into the valley, his place sat under escarpments and ancient rock formations that seemed to live and breathe. Ever changing, due to the light,I feel privileged to have been able to paint it. This painting was started en Plein air and completed in the studio.
