This is a colourful impressionism in the style of Monet with my own interpretation, i do love ponds and they impart a romantic and spiritual well-being, if i ever feel like i need to reconnect with nature this is where i choose to sit and ponder, its mesmerising to watch the insects and the changing patterns on the water. This acrylic painting has many layers of glazes and depths of colours, it is completely original. The sides of the canvas are painted black.
