Centrolepis Form II by Smith & Brooks is a limited-edition print of the original painting from the collection, ‘Southern Melody’.

The tiny centrolepis strigosa grows only a few centimetres in size so you will have to look closely to find it. Hidden in grasslands and heath this beautiful native is found radiating out from Melbourne to most corners of Australia. Its tufted form is reminiscent of a bouquet on a miniature scale.

Centrolepis Form II has been created with a bold palette of deep greys, and red-browns to enhance it’s natural outline. It is cradled with a ribbon of desaturated pink – a colour drawn from its tiny blooms.

Each product comes printed with our signature mark on the front and is individually numbered on the back.

Limited edition 100 on high quality 310gsm Hahnemühle Natural Line, Agave Fine Art paper. Each comes with an extra white border for ease of handling for your framer. Made up of 70% agave, this fine art paper is created with less environmental impact than traditional fine art papers.

Also available ready to hang on stretched canvas. Optional float frame available in matte black or oak timber. All canvas prints are made to order so please allow 4 weeks for dispatch of your order.
