Artist Statement: There is nothing like a hot pot of tea, chocolate biscuits and David Tennant.

This work is Acrylic on 61 X 61 on Fine Belgian Linen, stretched and ready to hang. It is sent with a certificate of authenticity and will be signed on the front.

This work is sealed with a conservationist Varnish. This means you can wipe it free of dust with a damp cloth which will preserve its life. It is on fine Belgian linen which provides a beautiful finish for the paint and is long lasting for many hundreds of years giving the painting posterity.

The work does not have an exterior frame. I have added different frames to the image so you can see what it is like framed with different frames. You can hang the work as it is. It is painted on the sides so an exterior frame isn’t necessary unless you want one (no ugly white sides). If you decide to add an exterior frame I suggest choosing a frame that matches your furniture. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of black trim choose a black frame. But I would never recommend a black or white frame if you don’t have a lot of black in your home – normally a soft neutral timber is going to look better.
