‘Chromatic Paris’ – is a part of a series of abstract works that communicate my experience of place into a field of colour, rhythm and texture. Stripped from representational forms I focus on communicating my emotional response using distinct colour palettes that I have come to associate with each location.

This work draws on the intense energy of Paris, France. Stripped of representational imagery, the piece instead conveys my emotional response to Paris through its carefully selected palette, evoking the warmth of early morning light, the depth of shadowed laneways, and the muted elegance of the city’s surfaces.
