Small interior scene of Barber shop.This small painting was inspired by a barber shop on the corner of my street which I often pass. It is a quaint place usually devoid of womenfolk. The prospective clients sit on an old red leather sofa awaiting their turn to have a hair trim or shave. Here I have reflected the images of both the barber and the three clients in the large mirror.
Acrylic paint – ready to hang. In the painting I wanted the base colours to shine through to give the painting an ‘old worldly’ effect.
