Cluster Fluff: Abstract Painting on Canvas

This original painting was an experiment in using different techniques to apply the paint. The work was created using Sponges, rags, plastic, scrapers, directly from the tube and Spray Packs then finished off with tiny brushes.

The work is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces. The work is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

This artwork has a textured finish created by built up layers, a visual effect mimicking the look you would see in the street where this effect is created over time on Graffiti Walls & Advertising Spaces, Insitu examples are not to scale.

The work comes on a stretched canvas and is ready to hang.
