Hibiscus tiliaceus goes by many names, including coastal hibiscus, kurrajong and coastal cottonwood. This much-loved beachside native can be found along the coast of Queensland through to the New South Wales coastal areas around Sydney. Along with its heart-shaped leaves, ‘Coastal Hibiscus Still III’ features flowers in different stages of bloom, nestled into an earthenware pot.

The colour palette of ‘Coastal Hibiscus Still III’ was drawn from early morning walks beside the beach when both the light and the colours of the landscape are soft.  ‘Coastal Hibiscus Still III’ has been created in conjunction with ‘Banksia Robur Still I’ and ‘Silver Banksia Still I‘, and together these works create a calming sense of reflection.
