This is one of a series of small paintings taken on as a bit of a challenge. It’s quite difficult moving from large to small canvases when you’re a gestural painter but something it’s good to get your head around. And your hand! I quite like the colour palette in this one. I use the same colours in most of my paintings but depending on how they’re mixed, each painting can look quite different.
Painted on the sides so will not require framing
Finished with two coats of varnish for surface protection
