This painting is a celebration of colour, texture, and nature’s vibrant energy. Using the palette knife as my primary tool, I aimed to create a dynamic and tactile composition that conveys the spontaneity and richness of blooming flowers in their full, lively form. Each stroke of paint is a reflection of the natural world’s vibrant hues and irregular shapes, where color intersects with texture to evoke both emotion and movement.
The thick layers of oil paint reflect my desire to give the flowers a physical presence on the canvas, transforming them into something almost tangible. The impasto technique creates depth, inviting the viewer to explore the surface and feel the energy embedded in each mark. Through this process, I hope to evoke a sense of joy and connection with the beauty of the natural world, encouraging the viewer to experience both the colours and textures in a more immersive and intimate way.
This work is a reminder of the fleeting yet striking beauty of nature and the power of abstraction in capturing its essence. It is an exploration of how form and colour can be used to express the vibrancy of life and the ever-changing rhythms of our environment.
The Artwork is framed in oak floater frame and is ready to hang.
