A piece with a sense of humor and a real conversation starter! The inspiration was taken from ‘Jake the Muss’ from ‘Once Were Warriors’, a New Zealand film released in 1994, based on the NZ author Alan Duff’s best-selling 1990 novel. It became the highest-grossing film of all-time in New Zealand, and has won numerous awards.

Acrylic paint on canvas with a protective gloss varnish. Wide edge, acid-free, 340gsm cotton duck canvas, painted black on the side, wired and ready to hang. Please contact me if you would like the edges of the painting to be finished in a different colour.
