This seascape oil painting is ‘after Rod Moore’, inspired by his skilful approach to seascape and landscape painting.
The reference was of Coolum Beach, but it reminds me of many Australian beaches, with the clear blue water and rugged headland.
I have experimented with different blues in the water and varying colours in the foliage. I used a palette knife for the rocks to give them texture.
The painting is framed in an off-white timber frame and ready to hang!
