Coral Playground by Christine Hyde

This new painting evokes memories of the beautiful Great Barrier Reef in Far North Queensland where I have spent many holidays. This contemporary original seascape artwork is painted in quality alcohol inks onto a professional smooth art board. This painting is stylishly presented within a flush and deep-edged natural timber frame.

Coral Playground is unique original flowing artwork, created using various techniques combined to allow increased flow, interaction and separation of colours to create interesting patterns where pops of colour can be seen emerging from underneath. This added dimension adds lace and cells to the artwork creating an interesting and one of a kind painting that can never be replicated. A gorgeous variety pigments in a neutral palette were applied.

This artwork has been finished with layers of professional grade high gloss varnish for extra protection, colour enhancement and a beautiful smooth finish. The inks reflect the shifting light beautifully really bringing the painting to life.

The painting has received a number of protective and UV varnishes and is ready to hang. It is advised not to hang this painting in very strong direct sunlight.
It has been discretely signed on the front and will also be delivered with an Artist Certificate of Authenticity.

PACKAGING
It will be securely packaged for safe travel with layers of bubble wrap inside hand-made boxes of thick grade cardboard.

About the artist Christine Hyde;

Christine is an award winning contemporary artist with a bush studio in the Blue Mountains of NSW. Christine paints lustrous landscapes and dreamscapes often referencing the world on her studio doorstep, the local region and its flora. Her aim is to create an art narrative depicting nature’s personality, character and randomness.

Many of Christine’s paintings grace the walls of private collectors Australia-wide, in the UK and France, and Blue Mountains Art Galleries. She is the recipient of several art awards, is a finalist in prestigious exhibitions and has a program of further solo art exhibitions and workshops.
