Additional Information

Dahlia by Rosemary Legat – Following the creation of my artwork La Rosa I selected another wildling. with similar colour palette, to start creating another piece with similar vibes and look, but different.

(Wildlings are a spontaneous expressions of the artist who creates them. They often evolve over time and through the layering process become rich with detail and depth.)

Acrylic paint, acrylic ink, spray paint, water colour crayons, ephemera, collage pieces and stencils on 300gsm paper.  I enjoy the challenge of creating and making my own stencils.

Painted Dahlia’s portrait over my layered base then adorned her with flower ephemera, flower collage pieces layering with spray painted stencilling, painted accents then finished this piece off with a warm golden glaze.

Signed on the front and requires framing to hang.

My gallery photos show how Dahlia  could look framed and hung.

As Dahlia and La Rosa look wonderful hanging together my gallery photos include examples of how this unique duo could look framed and hung together.

Dimensions:  Both Dahlia & La Rosa are 42 (W) x 58 (H)  however La Rosa’s dimensions include a rough .05 cm border.

Please check dimensions, in-situ images are for display purposes only and may not be to scale.
