Joyful & abundant, full of life & energy…

Exploring an abstract garden palette and remembering playing in my grandmother Enid’s garden when I was a child. Happy memories.

Artwork colours are bright & bold with a touch of softness added with pale peach & white.

When creating these artworks I paint only with a palette knife and scrape the paint across the canvas in layers. Each layer reveals the layers underneath and the white is almost translucent, creating a tissue paper effect on the canvas.

Artwork measures 91cm x 91cm and it comes with a wire across the back ready to hang on the wall.

Created in my home studio in Sydney.
