Being near the Noosa River I often walk to refresh my mind and exercise and the mangroves at the edge of the river reminded me of dancers. Elegant, tall, twisting and graceful. I wanted to paint them reflected in the River’s sand and water at low tide.

I’ve used acrylic on canvas with pastel colours not as a photographic image but one from my imagination.
