Dapple Blue  by Cheryl Harrison – My work in general is inspired by and is a combination of popular culture and life’s everyday events – a word, a triggered memory or the elements in an undiscovered street that catch my eye, to a wave crashing on a morning walk. I call these my lifescapes.

‘Dapple Blue’ is a mid sized square abstract painting in beautiful earthy and blue tones, juxtaposed with areas of bold mark making and is wretched and wired ready to hang. The Dapple series is inspired by recent studies made whilst travelling back and forth along the east coast of Australia. The shifting light and its effects on the water and surrounding landscape is what captured my attention and led me to create this new work.

This original artwork is acrylic on canvas, is framed in gloss white wooden frame, wired and ready to hang.
It is initialled on the front CH., with full signature and titled on the back with a Letter of Authenticity.

(Please note any in situ images of this artwork is to offer decor and installation examples only and is not to exact scale, so please check the dimensions before purchasing).
