INFLUENCE:

Deliberation. One reason why a lot of us flock to beaches. I guess its because its one of the best known places where people can relax, whether it be after a gruelling days work or a place to go for some quiet time alone to think. The sound of the ocean soothes the soul, giving us a sense of freedom. Staring out onto the horizon where it meets the water, wondering what’s beneath the gorgeous mass of blue salty water.

Yes, countless reasons indeed. Mine is a love of all things which come from the ocean and all of it’s surrounds. The salty air tickling my nostrils, the soft sand massaging my bare feet as I leave my footprints along the waters edge and the energy which the ocean gives me to let go my imagination and paint how I feel on canvas.

This is my abstract interpretation of our wonderful beaches and beautiful waters which we all love and are blessed to visit. Our oceans come in different colours from deep deep blue to tropical aqua and teal. Our sands which align the waters are white or cream in colour. We have rugged coastlines with no sand at all. Rock pools adorn some of our great beaches while others aren’t witness to a pebble.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Quality acrylics and inks used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping. Protective Matte Varnish applied. Signed by the artist and ready to hang.
