This piece for me is an emotional one as its about self-love and respect. Pearls and Diamonds also know as the ‘protection gems’ contribute to this piece symbolising strength when feeling vulnerable.

The femininity in my work is inspired by my mother. Travelling to France, she taught me about the history of Europe’s Master Painters.

I was inspired by 16^th– 17^th Century Renaissance and Baroque artists like Titian, Vermeer, and Frans Pourbus.
