‘I have some pretty strict editing rules with my straight photography, whereas with photo-based digital art, there’s more freedom. But you can go crazy removing “spots” and “insect eggs” on petals and such. Even with digital art compositions based on photos I like to keep things pretty real. Here, for example, I really like the yellow pollen spots. Having a bit of pollen on your petals is very Daisy-like.’
